Jewish Identity From the Inside, Out
Join us for a playful and thought-provoking interactive look at Jewish identity from the inside, out. Boundaries and Boundary Crossing

How to Disagree Like a Jew
Jews love to argue. When is arguing fruitful and when is it alienating or divisive? What are the central issues that Jews around you argue about? We will be getting rough and ready to dig into difficult conversations and we'll explore skills and choices that we can make when meeting difference, diversity and conflict to transform argument into productive dialogue.

What's Anti-Semitism Got to Do With It?
This session will look at the impact of anti-Semitism on the Jewish soul and psyche. We will examine the often unconscious ways that Jewish identity continues to be conditioned by fear, reactivity and defensiveness, distorting how we see ourselves, other kinds of Jews and non-Jews. We will look at what gets in the way of our most vibrant vision of Jewish life and work toward transforming it.
10:30am - 12:30pm. The Shaar Shalom (1981 Oxford St.) Free

Finish - 1:00pm
